Our last 8-week Ballroom course before the summer holidays will be starting soon.

For all you budding dancing couples out there our Foxtrot & Cha-Cha-Cha course will be starting on Thursday 19th June – Beginners at 7.30pm and Improvers at 8.30pm. £50 per person for the 8 weeks / £100 per couple for the 8 weeks.

We have places for 10 couples only so it’s first come first served!

This year, we are changing our Ballroom courses – just slightly! (Don’t panic!) We are now running 8-week courses that cover two ballroom dances per course (one Traditional & one Latin) to make sure that we really master the moves before moving on to the next one!

You can choose to be either a Beginner or Improver for each course – you don’t have to stay on the same level throughout the year.

In addition, we are also offering the odd 4-week specialist courses that focus on one dance only.

• Places are limited to 10 couples max per course
• No partner is necessary for any class or course, but it does help!

This year, we are continuing our popular 6-week courses that cover two ballroom dances per course (one Traditional & one Latin) to make sure that we really master the moves before moving on to the next one!

You can choose to be either a Beginner or Improver for each course – you don’t have to stay on the same level throughout the year.

In addition, we are also offering 4-week specialist courses that focus on one dance only.

Summer is over and we’re back in full swing at the studio with courses and classes.

Our first Ballroom course to start back is Argentine Tango. It’s a 4-week course on Thursday nights and we have 2 classes, one at 7.30pm for beginners and one at 8.30pm for Improvers.

We are starting a Quickstep & Rumba 6-week course here at the studio in July for Beginners & Improvers.

The 6-week course will start on Thursday 1st July and continue until 5th August. Beginners class starts at 7.30pm and Improvers class starts at 8.30pm. Over the six weeks we will cover both Quickstep & Rumba and put together a sequence for both dances by the final week.

No partner is necessary and if you would like to sign up for the course or have any questions, just drop us an email at info@firstdance.co.uk.

All places on the course have to be pre-booked to ensure we don’t have too many of you squeezed on to the dance floor!

We’ve had so much interest from people who want to learn to dance, that we have decided to squeeze one more Adult Ballroom Dance course in between now and Xmas!

The course will start on Thursday 19th November, here at First Dance Studios – see www.firstdancestudios.co.uk for directions and more info about the studio. It will cost £25 per person for the five-week course.

We’re really looking forward to another brilliant ballroom course here at First Dance – and for all newly engaged couples out there, it’s a great way of preparing for either your first dance, or your first dance lessons!

On Saturday 24^th October, we are running a Jive workshop at the studio.

The first workshop will start at 3pm and cover basic moves and will last 45 minutes. The second workshop that follows will start to put the moves into a sequence and will also last 45 minutes.

The first workshop is perfect for beginners, or those that are a bit rusty, and the second workshop is perfect for those that have done a bit of Jive in the past.

1^st workshop – 3pm-3:45pm / 2^nd workshop – 3:45pm-4:30pm

£8 per person for 1 workshop, £12 per person for both workshops
